This anchorage is sheltered in northwest, north and northeasterly
winds but can be fairly exposed otherwise and open to northwest
swells. The bottom is rocky with seaweed so lay your anchor carefully.
There is also another anchorage in the bay on the west side of the
island in 4 metres but beware of rocks in the bay itself.
We must free ourselves of the hope that the sea will ever rest. We must learn to sail in high winds.
