[w]ENE (I think, we are sheltered behind island/Rock) gusting 15. Rain last night and windy. This morning the sun is out and 60% cloud cover.
[s]Moved the 12 miles or so down to Sawa-I-Lau Island at the southern end of Yasawa Island. Had heard about the caves here but at $55 per person decided against going in.
We had been told $20 but it seems a village further away owns the caves and the local village may be clipping the ticket a bit! Presented Sevusevu to the head lady and went back and traded some milk powder, sugar, rice etc for some paw paw and cassava. I took photos of her family and printed them out for them which were much appreciated. Not moving far today, just the few miles to Malakati Bay at the top of Nacula Island.[END]
