[status] Still motor sailing along (with wind vane steering) - in light ESE winds, on a relatively calm sea (swell is down considerably) under clear, sunny skies! The auto pilot even worked in the almost-no-wind conditions we experienced for several hours earlier today! Arrival at Marsden still anticipated for Friday late afternoon or early evening. All is well on board. NB: This post will show our correct longitude - 172E (I noticed the last post had us at 175E - we have done some detouring on this passage with fickle winds, but not that far east!)
[speed] 6.2 kts (motor sailing)
[heading] 150T
[weather] Winds ESE, 9 -11; seas 2m S; 5% cloud cover; bar 1015.05, falling.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
