[status] We arrived to Honiara yesterday. Sorry for missing a day on the updates. It was overall a great sail. We were able to sail a majority of the way...which was a first in a long time up here at 8S. PredictWind was spot on with the weather. Upon arrival we had 18-20kts of wind out of the NW as predicted by PW. I knew this would create a crappy anchorage here so I almost delayed our trip by a day, but instead relied on the ECMWF which showed virtually no wind(8kts W). This made for a rolly anchorage last night, and not very happy crew. I won't second guess PredictWind in the future as they seem to be the most accurate, especially with the high res models....:) . We plan on picking up our shipments today. We are awaiting a couple more shipments that have been delayed, so we will move over to Roderick Bay to await their arrival.
