[status] a rough 24hrs with winds of 20knts gusting 28knts. short choppy seas. @1330hrs a large wave slammed into our stbdside breaking the clasps on our midship portlight open. this is the second bomar grey series portlight less than 12 months old to fail.( the first in nz was replaced before departure) Have braced the hatch shut as best as possible and have very minimal water ingress. will cover with plywood once the conditions abate enough to work safely. other wise all is well apart from all our clothes which kindly soaked up the water when the hatch came open.
