[status] New Zealand to TONGA!!! Day 12. Still hoping for a Friday, May 26 arrival? Squally, raining, windy, shit conditions, but toasty dry inside of rolly Local Talent! Double reef main only. One time last night when it hit 35kts, I started the engine in reverse to slow the boat down because I didn't want to go outside and put a third reef in. It worked great! And the batteries got charged! Lots of water out here... both below and above. Gotta love sailing. [END]
