[status] Report at 1500 WST. We had a few restful days in Talbot Bay waiting for the tidal range to increase so that we could go on a Horizontal Falls jet boat trip. This morning we went on the boat trip and had a wow of a time. At 10am we departed Talbot Bay on a falling tide and motored through remarkable countryside to Silver Gull Creek. Up to two knots of current with us. Went via the Channel and the Gutter. Two other boats in the anchorage and soon we will head to Arrow for sundowners.

The sea is the same as it has been since before men ever went on it in boats.
