[status] getting ready to up anchor and motor to Minerva Reef exit. Legacy crew departing as well.
Entertaining evening yesterday with Tauranga boat kittywake needing rescue on the outa Reef. Crayfish gathering was too tempting. However there little engine decided it couldn?t and soon the radio came to life with calls for help. We had just lashed down our tender so I made the call out to the others here in Minerva, most hadn?t heard what was going on. So soon a response was underway. Will from kittywake was playing it cool as usual. Such a hard case guy. Three boats and two tenders later they had him off the verge of the Reef, with foxy lady towing him back in. Just another day on the high seas. Lol.
