[status] Only 164 miles says it all. Wind has been NNW, N, NNE in rain bands through the night. A few Jibes but frustrating sailing. Motor sailing at present to maintain distance. We are likely to drop into Opua, do our clearance and wait for a small depression to clear before making our way down to Whangarei rather than battle possible head winds. ETA Opua Monday evening. Everything is fine on board.
