[status] Thanks to calm seas we were able to make way under sail with only 3-4 knots of wind Thursday night and John was lucky enough to witness a spectacular meteor shower at 5 AM. The breeze freshened a bit late Friday morning making for a glorious day of 5-6 knot sailing under sunny skies in 5-7 knots of wind, with an occasional brief gust to 8 knots. Wahoo! We took advantage of the pleasant conditions to get the house ready for Christmas - stainless steel polishing topsides. The breeze went lighter and the swell increased around 5 PM but at present we are sailing and enjoying stargazing and satellite spotting yet again.
