[status] Day 13 underway to Caribbean/Bahamas. We have continued to mostly motor through the doldrums, although we received a gift of 7 hours of wind yesterday afternoon/evening. It was so nice to turn off the engine and sail for a while! Looked at the weather information yesterday and saw no great advantage to turning due north, so we are continuing on our original course - at least for now. Will look again today. 326 miles to the equator on our current heading, so at our current speed, we should get there late Saturday afternoon (UTC time). 3178 miles to the Bahamas, so we are 1/3 of the way to our final destination! All is well aboard.
