[status] Day 27 underway to Caribbean/Bahamas. We're continuing to make good time, and covered 160 nautical miles in the past 24 hours, so our average speed was 6.7, which is fast for Slip Away. The wind is more easterly (vs. northeasterly a few days ago), so we're now sailing wing-and-wing. The wind and seas are on our starboard quarter, which is a more comfortable than on the beam, but it's still pretty lively. All is well. 1260 miles to go to the Bahamas.
