[status] An easy night with nothing much happening. Wind is up and down between about 15 and 22. We will probably be shaking out some reefs today although we are making pretty good speeds with staysail and 3rd reef and very comfortable. The seas are increasingly calmer so might start to put the hammer down a bit.
As I write this we are sailing past Norfolk and Phillip islands, about 15 miles away but we can see them clearly.
The grib files are looking good for the rest of the trip. It?s pretty cool how we are following closely behind the edge of the high as it pushes north eastward. I think the smaller wave fetch of this phenomenon will mean good sea conditions, also lighter wind behind us.
