[status] After our short stay at Warm Springs Bay on Baronof Island with the lovely baths we decided to move to Chapin Bay where we intend to stay for two nights and let some foul weather pass by. The guide books say that there is more bears here on Admiralty Island than any other part of Alaska, particularly Grizzly Bears who like to swim to yachts if they get a whiff of food on the boat. So we are hopeful of seeing Grizzly Bears in their element, albeit not swimming out to Iolea for a free feed.
[weather] Rain, no wind or swell.
