We arrived here in Fare, Huahine , after a brief overnight sail from Moorea.
There we had spent a really lovely 17 days or so hanging out in 5 spots on
the N side, with friends from Moira and Tanooki, with a guest appearance by
Bachus.
We sadly had to say our (final!) goodbyes to all these guys when we left
Moorea on the 6th October.
A week in Huahine has seen a brief trip to sample a couple of anchorages
inside the lagoon - and LOTS of socialising with friends from Patea and
Spacegrazer.
Today we'll be heading off into the big blue, destination NZ (accompanied
by the 'Spacies' - at least to start!)
It's going to be about 2,500nm to the port of Opua in Northland, which
should take us around 19-22days.
Will keep you posted (if probably a bit sporadically!!
