Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes — you can upgrade from Basic to Supporter or Star Supporter at any time. The difference will be prorated for the remainder of your subscription period.
Do I need to own a yacht?
No! The Follower Membership is designed for friends and family who want to track the yachts they love — no vessel required.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Payments are processed securely — we never store your card details.
What happens when my membership expires?
Your yacht profile and data remain intact. You simply won't be able to update your position or send messages until you renew.
Is the trial really just $1?
Yes — $1 NZD gives you full access for 7 days. After that, you can choose a membership plan or let it lapse with no charge.
What's the difference between Supporter tiers?
Beyond features, Supporter and Star Supporter members are directly funding YIT's development and server costs. It's how we keep the lights on for the whole community.
