We are enjoying being back at Poum, apart from being very sheltered it is also very beautiful. And listening to GH Radio, I think we're very sheltered.
Last year we visited and decided the local attitude was very bad, as was the state of the town, tagging, all street lights broken, trash everywhere and the PO had been set alight. This year there is a new supermache / hardware / petrol / diesel station which has been completed and close to the wharf,is staffed by very helpful, friendly locals. There appears to be pride in the town now which is tidy and free of rubbish. We plan to stay here for a few days.
