[status] Still at Matuku. Had a great surf day before yesterday. The irony is in western fiji you are always trying to get the breaks to yourself. Here I wish there was someone to surf with. Amazing waves but scary. The big left hander in front of Makudru is awesome. I didnt go in by myself. Mainly surfing the short right hander north side of the pass. We had Sunday lunch in the village yesterday. No surfing as they don't do anything on Sunday so we do the same. Heading out surfing today and also to see if there are still Tuna at my favorite spearfishing spot. We finally started getting the strong winds that were forecast night before last, had really only had moderate trades previous few days. Looks good for a nice easy sail the last hundred to Fulanga in a couple of days.
