[status] As of 2016-09-04 23:00 UTC: Had a nice day of sailing yesterday to Port Resolution. Wind and waves lightened as we got close to Tanna. Could see volcano in the night vision scope 30 miles out with awesome bursts of light. Volcano spewing out large plumes. We got the anchor down about 9 am local time. Anchorage very protected but rolly.
