[status] We are anchored in a beautiful spot as the winds are from the WSW. The beach is black sand and there are towering mountains in the background. From our location you can't see any signs of life or industry, even though we are anchored on the other side of a small town. It's a great spot, and we slept very well last night. We will leave today as we stage for our final 200NM run to Sorong. We have been in debate about our best strategy as there are logs in the water, and we don't want to run over them at night...so we are trying to figure out our best plan to minimize potential damage. My mom flies into Sorong on Tuesday, so we will be there no later than Monday. All is well.
