We bit he bullet and left Neiafu yesterday afternoon. We are now 86 miles away from Vava'u in 10-12 ESE with a NE swell of about 1 metre. Fingers crossed the convergence zone stays high for another day or so!!

Clear night with masses of stars falling out of the sky, if they carry on ice that there won;t be any left! Yacht Elas is now behind us but still in sight -just.
