[status] 296nms to go to King Cove. The winds finally eased for us around 4am, had some glorious light wind sailing up to 10am when the wind died and went north so we're motoring now. We are hoping to arrive late on Tuesday [weather permitting]. One thing we rediscovered in the rough conditions was a mystery leak in a half cabin on our port side forward of the salon. It leaks from part way down the ceiling, but only at sea in rough weather on a port tack, we've never been able to replicate it on a dock with a strong hose. We'll have to destroy the ceiling to remove it to have any chance of locating the origin of the leak. Other than that all is well.
[weather] COG 356T, SOG 5kts, wind is 5kts from the North, swell is 0.5m, 1014 baro, 90% cloud cover.
