[status] It?s been a good days sailing, making really good progress reaching in 18 to 20 knots south easterly. 2 reefs and full jib is cruisy but fast enough. The seas are small but quite confused so it?s not perfectly comfortable but we are both doing very well. Just had delicious stew for dinner and settling in for our first night.
The wind is forecast to back and lighten overnight which is one of the reasons we are heading north of the rhumb line, so we can have a closer reaching angle in the lighter winds. The other reason is that it?s a more comfortable angle in this stronger wind.
