[status] As forecast the wind got very light and the motor started just before midnight. We motor sailed for a few hours but by this morning there?s not much wind pressure to play with and we are motoring with 1 reef mainsail for a bit of stability.
We always expected a long period of motoring on this weather window and are resigned to motoring for at least another 24 hours. On the plus side it?s really comfortable and easy going with small seas and beautiful weather as expected in a high pressure area. It?s always easy to sleep with the white noise of the motor so we will catch up on sleep, shower, relax and enjoy being out here in the big calm blue.
