[status] It?s been a beautiful day, but not for sailing. We?ve been motor sailing on stbd gybe the whole day (mostly motoring, the sails haven?t been helping much. Around sunset the breeze picked up for a while to about 10 knots and we sailed for a while doing about 6 knots at a very square angle, only possible because the sea was almost totally flat. As darkness fell the motor went back on as the wind went lighter.
We saw two big sharks today on separate occasions. The one had a black, fairly narrow and sharp dorsal, maybe a hammerhead. The other was a lighter grey colour and very big, possibly a great white.
