[status] It?s been quite a day of rough sailing, particularly this late afternoon as wind and waves built, a final test for the Jolifou which she is passing with flying colours so far. (Touch wood) Handling the conditions well with staysail and 3rd reef mainsail. A couple of little half-broaches (those little rudders) but autopilot has recovered well each time. And yes, the compressor locker will need another clean ?
We?ve had a bit of bad current against us which is a shame as speed through the water has been excellent but progress not as good as hoped.
As I write this now the worst of the conditions seem to have passed which is also the prediction of the weather models. Just over 100 miles to go.
