[s]Off the very smart, French-owned, Ratua Private Island Resort. Had an expensive but delicious meal ashore last night with brilliant entertainment from The Bamboo Band.
The resort has two moorings (pink buoys) which are free of charge â they prefer yacht to use these to prevent damage to the sea grass and coral. Lots of turtles around us.
We sadly say goodbye to Laura on Monday when she flies on the (weekly) direct flight from Luganville to Brisbane. Weâd then like to head back to Ambrym (departing Tuesday) for the Back to My Roots festival so will we listening with interest to the weather forecasts for next week.[END]
If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
