[status] (Posted 1000 local Nov 24) Too stunned by dawn over the most breathtaking landfall I can recall to check into YIT in a timely fashion this morning. Motoring slowly through calms now in the mouth of the Hauraki Gulf. Diverted at ~1130 yesterday to lend assistance to schooner Regulus who had called CG on 16 for a tow into Opua from ~35 nm out (fuel problem); Maritime Radio this morning confirmed their safe arrival.
