[status] We were welcomed to the state of Hawaii by our first clear night sky and the northern hemisphere stars. We dropped our sails around noon & are bobbing along in the lee of the Big Island, trying to time our arrival in Honolulu by daylight and figuring this would be the calmest place between here and there to hang out. It's giving us a chance to tidy up ourselves & the boat so we'll be presentable to Customs officials.
