[status] Report at 1830 local time. Left Shelly Beach this morning and motored less than a mile to anchor off the town of Orford. Despite small surf running it was easy to land and launch the dinghy off the nearby beach which has firm white sand. It was an easy walk into town where the small grocery store sold all that we needed. The Pop Up Book Stall, held in the local primary school, sold a wide variety of books. Peter bought two on Winston Churchill. We have stunning views of Maria Island to our east and plan to head across to the island tomorrow.
