[status] 48 hour sail from Albany to O'Briens Beach at Cape Le Grand, which is approximately 12 nautical miles east of Esperance. A good passage with wind on the starboard beam most of the way. We seemed to have helpful current with us for the last 24 hours. Maximum depth 3,000 metres. Saw many albatross and shearwaters. On approach to the anchorage we saw surf exploding over rocky islets and reefs of the Archipelago of the Recherche.
