[status]Had a great days sail yesterday. Sunny all day. Late in the afternoon the wind backed more around to the NE and now it is in the N. We can see the front out to starboard. Web are 20 miles off the Nine Pin. We will be having the last of our Fiji bacon and eggs for breakfast with a glass of champagne.
It has been a good trip, actually the quickest for us in 16 years of cruising. It will be just under 7 days from Fiji to NZ. Have noticed a lack of sea birds out here. You usually see quite a few storm petrels, sooty shear water and the odd albatross but have only seen about 6 sooties, no storm petrels and no albatross.
Thanks Dave and Patricia for all the weather info. We will catch up with you when we are down your way.

I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
