[status] Beautiful sail Sunday from Great Barrier Island to Waiheke in 8-18 knots, gusting 23k, with whales breaching and spouting off the NE end of Little Barrier Island. We were hard to weather but it was fun on the protected waters of the Hauraki Gulf. Too bad the open ocean isn't this flat! Monday we explore Waiheke by bus.

If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
