Ashika is 45' ketch rigged sail boat built in Japan in 1976. Designed by John G. Alden who is known for his fast and seaworthy offshore boats, you would find her to be an over-built and seaworthy vessel. Dois and Lauri have owned her since 2005 and have sailed to Panama and back again to their home port of Los Angeles before leaving for the South Pacific in 2017.
