Destiny
FollowWe are the original owners of "Destiny", a 1988 Centurion 42 Sloop that is equipped with a roller furling inner forestay when offshore cruising. From 1988 to 1998 we based "Destiny" in Seattle, during which time we actively raced and cruised local waters until our departure for offshore voyaging to Mexico, the Marquesas, Society Islands, Tuamotus, Cook Islands, Tonga and arriving in NZ in 2001. We imported "Destiny" into NZ in 2004 hand have based her here since. Since arriving in NZ we have made two round trips to the Islands (Toga and Fiji) and have spent several summers cruising NZ. Our last offshore voyage was in 2006 and 2008. We are sailing to Fiji on June 2nd, and have plans to cruise Fiji for 6 to 8 weeks, then sail to spend the rest of the season in Vanuatu. We intend to return to NZ in Spring/early summer of 2014 and cruise NZ until we fly home to our Guemes Island home in Washington State in April 2015.
