HaiYun 海韵 is a MacGregor65 monohull fiberglass sailboat built in 1992. Her current owners, the Allen-Wang family, sailed her from Vancouver Island (Oct 2007) to New Zealand (Nov 2008) via Hawaii, Marshall Islands, Kiribati,  Tuvalu, Fiji then New Zealand.  She is currently in Gulf Harbor Marina getting ready for the high sea again.  Before leaving New Zealand bound for California,USA in the mid-March, 2015, she is going to explore the south island of NZ. Hai Yun has made a landfall on Sep 17th, 2015 at the SF Bay, California, USA. Along the way from Dunedin, NZ, she had made landfalls at Gambia French Polynesia Islands, Oahu island of Hawaii, Sitka of Alaska and Haida Gwaii of Canada.More photos of HaiYun can be viewed at https://sites.google.com/site/svhaiyun65/home

Anchored at the north edge of the Gwaii National park after 12 h sailing. Very peaceful anchorage. Had salmon, pork and mushroom cap for dinner.
