Keyif is an Alubat OVNI 445, aluminium lifting keel, cutter rig sloop. She was built in Chantier Alubat in 2011 and has been our home ever since she was put into the Atlantic Ocean in march 2012. With her, we have sailed to the English Channel, motored through Europe from Le Havre to Constanza on the Black Sea through the rivers of Europe, then sailed from Istanbul, Turkey, across the Med, Atlantic and the Pacific to Fiji where we are now looking forward to sailing to New Zealand. We are a team of two, from Istanbul, Turkey, husband and wife, orthopaedic surgeon and rehabilitation physician, university professors and sailors. Sometimes we call ourselves retired, sometimes on a Sabbatical, depending on the mood.
