Lucy

Lucy is an Ed Burnett designed cruising yacht ( design #135). Lucy was launched in 2014 in Tasmania Australia. She is traditionally built from Huon Pine and Celery Top Pine. She was built over a 5 year period by her owners and a dear friend J Beck. Lucy has enjoyed cruising in Nz, New Caledonia, Tasmania and The loyalty Islands. She is currently getting ready for the next big adventure... Japan 2020.

Hot day ahead. Possibly the smoke will keep the temperature down a little. The pictures were taken this morning here in McCarrs Creek. Looks like fog but it’s smoke! Quiet day on board.

In an effort to reclaim some small level of fitness we walked into Lane Cove. Nice view of the city as we strolled home. Very wealthy area and as such a distinct lack of laundromats. Grotty yachty !

Up at sparrows this morning to beat the heat. Quick shop then a motor back to Lane Cove. Windy day so stayed on board. All is well.

Now that the wind has eased the city has filled with smoke from the NSW fires. The Beaver Moon tonight won&#x2019;t be so bright with all the smoke. 37 degrees tomorrow, a rough day for firefighting.
