Malakite is a 2010 Leopard 46. She was sailed from South Africa across the Atlantic through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific to Australia by her original owners. We Purchased her in November 2012 and sailed her back to New Zealand in December 2012.

sailing nicely in 20 knots, ran one motor for half a hour last night when the wind dropped briefly to 10 knots.
Have cleaned 4 flying fish off the decks. All well on board.

We departed Denarau at 9.00am this morning for Opua, with Glen, David and Karl on board.
Sailing in 20-30 knots in 2-2.5 metre seas, a bumpy start to the passage.

We are on the marina at Denarau, Fiji waiting for a weather window to depart for Opua. It currently looks like there will be a window to depart somewhere between Monday and Friday next week.

210nm to Nuku'alofa, still hoping to arrive tomorrow afternoon. We motored most of the night and turned the engine off at 4.30am and are now sailing in 15-20 knots of wind.
