Meikyo is a Norseman 447. Designed by Bob Perry and built in 1985, she is a very capable offshore cruiser. Mike and Liliane, from Canada, are six years into their circumnavigation. Meikyo is a Japanese word that translates to "clear mirror", or more philosophically "mirror of the soul". Liliane is a Canadian Registered Massage Therapist. Mike is a retired beer company guy.

Anchored Pulau Wayag. This truly is an idyllic place. Plan to be here a couple of weeks snorkeling/diving, fun at the beach and just chilling out. And of course some boat tasks.

Finished with diesel and groceries in Sorong, and our Raja Ampat permits in Waisai. Currently anchored in Frewin with three other boats. Now it feels like we?re out cruising!

Anchored near Tutunametal village in the Tanimbar Group. Nice anchorage in 25ft of sand. Going to chill out and catch up on our sleep.

At Cullen Bay Marina for a couple of weeks in preparation for departure to Indonesia. Enjoying a little dock time. Won?t see another for the next seven months or so till we get to Singapore.

At Keppel Bay Marina for a couple of weeks doing sail repairs, new cockpit screens, new VHF antenna and coax, rabies shot for Scupper, etc.

Finally pulled the anchor up and left Pancake Creek this morning. Nice sail up to Hummocky Island for the night.
