Mirabilis

Mirabilis

Mirabilis is a 43ft steel Finot sloop owned by Mike and Danica Stent. We have been living aboard since 2010 and were recently joined by a new crew member, Arlo. We have had one cruising season in Polynesia and are now making the most of maternity leave cruising in Melanesia for the 2019 season. Home base is Wellington, NZ. Mirabilis is named after the nudibranch Jason mirabilis. Nudibranchs are rad.

We left New Plymouth yesterday about 4pm and headed back out into the deep blue. Our depth sounded stopped working at 450m deep and Waikato is 55 NM off our starboard bow ( we are 99kms out to sea
