FollowOcean pearl is an Amel Super maramu 2000, 53' centre cockpit ketch. Home port is Mangonui New Zealand.
Owners and crew Danny and Yvonne Simms bought her in Florida 6 years ago. Since then 40,000 miles of water have passed under her keel.

Had good night. sea settled down a bit so we could make good speed. Sailing well now, warm and sunny, sea a bit lumpy.
at WP 21 30S/174 they will turn onto 190m and stay there to 26S. great progress so far and seas now more organised. Gulf Harbour Radio will not be on for 2 days
