Research Vessel Llyr
FollowLlyr is a modified Bruce Roberts 45 monohull steel yacht, ketch rigged, built in Europe in 2000. Her home port is Salem, MA, and she is registered with the US Coast Guard # 1090100. She is 53'LOL 16' Beam and 30 tons. Llyr averages 5.5 to 6 knots and commonly motor sails to windward. Her Perkins M90 has tankage for 1100 nautical mile. She is strongly rigged with large sturdy sails made by Doyle. Llyr is a work yacht that provides community services in Vanuatu annually April to September.
