Seabride is a Tayana 37. She is a ketch built in 1974. We bought her four years ago looking tired and unhappy after twelve years circumnavigating. We set to work and updated the essential systems ie sails, rigging, wiring etc etc. and then set off for Fiji in 2012. She has spent 2 cyclone seasons in Vuda marina and we have had magical cruising in Fiji including the southern and northern Lau. We are sailing back to Fiji on a catamaran Rayfiki soon and will then retrieve Seabride from Vuda and possibly move on to Vanuatu this year. We trust our solid old boat and though she is slow she doesn'’t give us much trouble.
