We had a wonderful sail to Mercury Cove stayed the night and today we sailed down Whangamata. We are in our marina berth. Tomorrow we will be picked up by family to go back to Rotorua.

We arrived at the Barrier at 2230hrs after a great passage. We anchored in Smokehouse Bay . We woke in this paradise, beautiful. Blue sky and light breeze. We will move down to Tryphena harbour, sometime today.

We left Whangamumu Bay for the Barrier early am. We are on our homeward journey to Whangamata. Then we will be picked up after finish cleaning C9

YA WE HAVE ARRIVED AT OPUA. IT IS 2300HRS AND DEAD FLAT, NO WIND. GLAD TO BE BACK EXCEPT IT IS VERY COLD.

ANOTHER LUMPY NIGHT, LITTLE MORE SLEEP. WE SAILED TILL 0230HRS, NOW MOTOR SAILING. ABOUT 90 NMILES TO RUN TO OPUA. ETA LATE TONIGHT.

VERY LITTLE SLEEP ON C9 LAST NIGHT, SEA ROUGH AND LUMPY. PUT IN 2ND REEF IN MAIN.

WE WERE GOING REALLY GREAT, BUT AFTER GETTING WEATHER UPDATE TOLD TO SLOW DOWN. WHICH WE HAVE DONE. IT IS VERY PLEASANT OUT HERE. WE WANT TO MISS THE BAD WEATHER.
