Wind died at 12:30 local yesterday. Motoring. Wind slowly drifting towards E since 22:00. Made lots of water, long hot showers all round.

Light winds. Could use a little more to push away from the developing low currently south of our position. Noon to Noon today 136 nautical miles. Slow progress but happy.

Lumpy confused seas, rolling along with 743 miles to go to Noumea. Two reefs in main and reduced genoa for a quiet night.

Cleared customs at Marsden Cove 12:30 900 approx miles to Noumea, New Caledonia. Easy start to the trip, running downwind with just a headsail to Cape Brett. Staying with that configuration till ... Read More

Still waiting in Town Basin. Weather looks promising for departure to New Caledonia next weekend. Very changeable patterns. Keeping fingers crossed. Winter is on it's way!
