Tamariki is a timber ketch designed and built by Gary Wheeler in Auckland and launched 1982. Sail number 4790. NZ registered number is 394802. She is 14.5m x 4.2m x 2m draft and 14.2 tonnes.displacement

She has sailed to the pacific (2003, 04 and 05), 2014, 15.and French Polynesia 2017

Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australian east coast to Tasmania then back to Picton NZ 2018/2019. Now cruising South Island and then on to Stewart Island in 2020

Depart Nelson 0900 heading toward Picton. Outgoing tide pushed us through French Pass with plenty of Whirlpools and max boat speed 10.3kn. now anchored in "Cherry Tree Bay' Catherine Cove.
