anchored,after many attempts, inside the reef at Passe Avapehi, Huahine Island. Departed Moorea 1630hrs yesterday. Coral trying to break the anchor chain so may have to try again. mud seems to be at 35 metres

heading to Raivavae, via WP of 35 34 and 177 15. Will get an update from Bob in about 3 days.Sea got very rough last night with S wind 25 -30 but has eased this morning. We dropped main altogether and ran with just the staysail 20% of genoa. We are going slow with Tamarik's comfort in mind, she is handling conditions well. No problems on board all well.
I heard Gulf Harbour radio faintly this morning and made contact. Had good reception from Toronui (Graheme Brown) in Fiji.
