Tehani-li
FollowTehani-li is a Tayana 52 built in 1988. Her current owners, Phil and Karel, have purchased her in Barcelona 10 years ago. Since she has proved a comfortable home and a fast passage maker. We are currently getting ready to cross the Indian towards South Africa.

Last 12 hours; tedious with huge squalls, 25k on the nose and bouncy seas! Happy for a break!!
Motoring and some motor sailing since last night. A mixed bag of conditions. Overcast skies, thunderstorms, lightening. Almost there though. Should arrive in another 12 hours or so.
Sailing at 7.5 knots with one reef in main and 2 in headsail. Poled out with 25knots ESE. Sunny skies

Beautiful sailing in calm weather; flat seas, 10-12 knots of ESE winds. Poled out genoa with spinnaker. Under a 100NM to go... Bonaire tomorrow morning!!

On the road again... After about 3 hours to get out of the shadow of Martinique we are now sSiling west at 8 knots towards Bonaire with reefed main and full jib. 413nm to go!

Welcome back to the Caribbean!! Arrived in Tobago; Woooohooo! At anchor in lovely bay. Ready to party! Only 60 nm to go to complete our circumnavigation!!
Sailing with full main, genoa and staysail. Wind and current pushing us at a whopping 9-10 knots. Only 189 nm to Tobago and our last night at sea!
Sailing on a beam reach, ENE winds at 12-14knots, doing between 7-8 knots on a slightly bumpy sea. Almost half way!!
Just anchored at Ile Royale after a black night riddled with squalls and wind shifts! Happy to be here for a few days rest.
