In Town Basin, preparing to leave soon. May go to Opua first and then plan to sail to Tonga.

Back on the hard at Norsand. All is well.

Docked at Marsden Cove. Motored down from Opua yesterday. Starting to cloud over. Heading to Norsand tomorrow to haul out.

First yacht to be docked on the new G-Dock at Bay of Islands Marina. Getting rested up and enjoying socializing with other cruisers here.

Motoring with both engines. Electrical issue resolved. Mainsail torn in two. ETA into Opua - Tuesday.

Sailing. Engine, electrical issues. ETA into Opua delayed till at least late Tuesday. Know we should try to avoid storm on Tuesday night. Will tack as wind backs to SE and E. All is well otherwise.

Motor-sailing with very light winds on the nose. Very calm glassy seas this am. Saw a pod of whales and an albatross.

Motor-sailing. Motor-sailed overnight in light ESE winds. Lovely start to the day, just would like more helping winds.

Motor-sailing with winds on the nose. Had variable ESE winds between 12 and 20 knts yesterday. Several sail changes. Calmed down overnight with winds switching from SSE to S to SSW.

Checked out of Vuda Pt. late this morning, heading for NZ. Wind 20 knots from 180 degrees, 1m swell SW, heading 220, speed 4knots, motoring, 1008.8 Baro.
